WILL of the STATE is an alternative pop project created by a Grammy U member, former U.S. Department of State diplomat, nationally published journalist, and Columbia University Ph.D. candidate in Communication.

Blending musical influences and instrumentation from around the world, the project explores how culture, spectacle, narrative, and symbolism shape public perceptions of authority, identity, and power.

The music combines strong pop songwriting with electronic production, hip-hop rhythms, cinematic textures, and global sonic influences. The result is a sound that moves fluidly between dancefloor energy and atmospheric world-building — simultaneously contemporary, theatrical, and intellectually layered.
